I find pleasure in creating quilts inspired by the natural world and experimenting with materials and techniques to enhance fabric. My quilting journey began in 2002, when I made my first traditional pieced quilt using a commercial pattern. I quickly found that I preferred to design my own quilts. My quilts have been exhibited in juried quilt and art shows in five states from NJ to Georgia. 

My goal is often to represent the textures and details of the natural world in pictorial quilts or to evoke a sense of being in nature in more abstract art quilts. Inspiration for these creations comes from my many outdoor activities, including kayaking, hiking, and stewardship activities on preserved land throughout central New Jersey and all across the country.
